Have you ever stopped and wondered what life was like before when blacks felt like they were not part of this country, or what really happened during this life and time? They went through so much to get where they are now; so many of our "friends" were kicked out of public places or doors were closed in their faces especially in restaraunts. Why would the white race keep people from eating and eejoying the world. To be as one; we need to act as one.

The article that i read has lots of black folks sharing their feelings and how they feel like they are now a part of this world after Obama won the prsidency! They speak of whites now talking to them and feeling like they are finally a part of this Country. Its a shae that it took getting a black president in the "White House" for blacks to feel like they fit in.

Though we are waiting for Obama to still do or stick with the things that he said that he was going to do. Some progress has been made. Our world is beginning to be a better place with all colors joining together and becoming as one. If this issue has gotten some what resolved we can resolve any thing with each others help.

Do we really realize the situations that we could or are about to face with this H1N1 virus? Its not only spreading like wild fire but is also causing alot of deaths. This is not a good thing at all! It dont matter where it started but its now spreading to our safe haven and is causing trouble for all of us. Thanks to God Kentucky has had no deaths with it yet; but has had some people with it, though it hhas been a handful.
Another problem that we have with this virus is that it could be given to our children.There are schools thats closing down, long with other buisnesses and encouraging us to stay out of school if we are sick and also home from work. Though, we are encouraged to stay home we are missing work because of our kids and ourselves. With the understanding that we must stay home and away from other people to keep this virus from spreading; we are missing work and money. Obama and the CDC is encouraging people to keep their children home but is not encouraging workers to give their employers time off.

There are to many people that dont get sick days or paid times off! This is a difficult situation and causing troubles with peoples jobs and families around the world. Obama should give the sick days off thats needed. There are going to be people still working in resataraunts and schools and plenty of other places that cant afford to stay home.

What would you think if you had to marry someone that you didnt want to? What would you think if your husband gave your eight year daughter to a forty eight year old year old man, for a debt that needed to be paid? Though i have no kids of my own; i know that there would be hell to pay for such an act. I would have to be six foot under before a husband of mine would give my baby girl to marraige for a debt that he owed or for any reason as far as that goes.

In Saudi Arabia, this young child was forced in marraige with a forty seven year old for a debt that had to be paid. The childs mother had no idea of such thing for the childs parents are divorced and the dad has custody. The mother had tried to have the marraige anulled and could not pull it off cause she had no custody. The judge said that after the girl could end the marraige after she reached the puberty stage. What a bunch of crap!

There has been announcements and new laws made that state that the laws will regulate child marraiges because of child abuse, but does not actually say that these types will be against the law though. so in this case they could still go on. A child should not have to pay for a parents mistakes at all.

Have you ever stopped and wondered how that you would die? This day and time its really hard to tell for it seems that everything that you see, do , hear can get you killed. Have you know or heard of anyone that has died from a disease? whether it has been in the United States or another country?

There is a flu that is coming to America called the "Swine Flu"! It is taking lifes right and left. It has taken one hundred and forty nine lives right now in Mexico. They are closing down schools and other public places and even considering shutting the whole place down. Though it has only took so many lives there is over sixteen hundred in Mexico that are diagnosed, or have been diagnosed with it.

The country is urging anyone with a headache, fever, dizziness, cough, and sore throat to stay while symptoms persist. Also urging that alot of unneccesary traveling stop; so that maybe the spread of this disease will stop. President Obama has also got involved but dont seem to think that its something that we should really be alarmed about just a little concernned.

I say that we should take heed to this bug and keep our eyes open for this disease and realize that this could destroy a portion of our population

Lies

Did u know that America is in a pickle? Well to me I believe that it is; due to some talk that i have heard from different news spokesman. I look at alot of it like our future is nothing but lies. Obama has said that he was going to do this and going to do that and at this moment majority or all of it has not happened... Most of it is based on exaggerations and factual misstatements.

I beleive that its time we stand up for our Country, Our President, and everyone else around us. If all we are going to hear are bunch of lies maybe we should start showing them what we think is right. i just cant understand why that we have elections and do all this voting if the people that we vote for is not doing what they say that they are going to do .

Have u ever stopped and wondered what happens to our soldiers while they are over there fighting and protecting us from the other worlds around us.. alot of our soldiers are coming back as totally differrent people.
Most of thhem is coming back with a long line of depression, post traumatic stress disorders, and brain injury and last but not least suicide which there one hundred and twenty eight in two thousand and eight. Which there were twenty four in jan. alone

Im so thankful for the boys that goes over and takes care of us and put their lives on the line to make sure that we are safe. i dont like the idea of what happens to our boys while they are over there and whats going on with them. They do alot to keep us safe and we should always be sure to salute them..

Today in our life and time; things have changed so dramatically. There is so much hate and violence in the world around us.. I was born in the seventys and it seems to me that the world was perfect.

I dont quite recall the same sex feeling a love thing for each other and now that is alot of what you see and hear.. In the article that i had looked at; feel that it is not in the constitution. Iowa will join two other states (Connecticut and Massachusetts) in the same sex marraige.

To me this kind of act is something that has needed to be decided between two individuals and them alone. the constitution does say that we are free and to me they have a right to do and feel what they want; though to me i woiuld rather have a good looking man than a woman sharing the rest of my intimate world.

So many people this day and time (especially younger ones) that has taken the gift for granted and does not give the child the ability or chance to be brought into this world...

According to the New York Times a ban for so called partial birth abortions passed in the senate yesterday in a three to thirty vote, there was also one passed in the State House of Representatives with eighty four to six votes. The good news is the governor will be signing for this bill to pass.

The one thing tha blew my mind with this story was one of the Dr.'s said that it couldnt be passed because it was to vague... that just dont make sense; in my opinions its time that we start takig care of each other in this American world instead of turning our backs on people when they need us.... these young girls do need to be taught a better way to protect babies and a better way to conserve life
